RAOK

Compassion & Mercy is always FREE, Random acts of kindness toward others, is therapy for our own souls......a lying, deceitful, vindicative tongue is as deadly as a penetrating bullet, it can literally destroy nations, let alone an individual. We can move mountains with simple kindness and compassion. Seems "justice" has none of those components!

"It is our position that a judgment that there is no distinction between a child of 14 and an adult" is improper, said attorney Brian Stevenson of Equal Justice Initiatives, an Alabama-based juvenile-advocate group. "To say to any child of 14 that 'you're only fit to die in prison' is cruel and unusual."

SANFORD RELEASES STATE BUDGET

A tremendous savings to the state immediately would be to investigate, evaluate YOUNG first time prisoners, evaluate their records for possibly RELEASE, saving many many thousands of state dollars. 30 yrs prison time for a YOUNG PERSON, with NO chance of parole, is barbaric and highly costly to the state taxpapers. A definite positive move in desperately needed, an evaluation process to weed out and release those YOUNG persons, who made a mistake as a "child", yet the state shows NO mercy, NO room for redemption, NO chances to be released, and become a "productive" member of society. Many are certainly elgible for release, having "grown up" in prison, who are NOW adults.........something officials should certainly PONDER and DO, to help save many thousands of dollars spent NEEDLESSLY, keeping these children in prison, many just happen to be in the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the WRONG ADULTS.............S.C. THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!!
